Curved Rafter for Thule 5200 Awnings

A curved rafter is a simple way to add canopy support to your Thule 5200 caravan awning. Positioned beneath the fabric, its curved profile helps reduce sagging, flapping and water pooling by supporting the canopy and encouraging rainwater to run off.

To fit a Campsmart curved centre rafter to the Thule 5200, you’ll need the Campsmart Anti Flap Kit Rafter Spigot Bracket.

The Bracket You Need for Your Thule 5200

The Campsmart Anti Flap Kit Rafter Spigot Bracket provides the attachment point for the curved rafter at the awning’s lead rail. Made from stainless steel, it comes pre-drilled to accept the rafter spigot.

See the bracket product page for fitting instructions, and check what’s included with your chosen rafter before ordering.

Check Your Awning Model Before Ordering

The rafter and bracket setup described here is for the Thule 5200 awning. Have a different Thule model or need help checking your fittings? Call Campsmart on 1300 553 189 before ordering.

A rafter provides additional canopy support, but it does not replace proper securing or retraction when weather conditions require it. Always follow your awning manufacturer’s guidance.
