Campsmart Reviews

" Although i have inly used this for 1 trip so far, it leveled my trailer perfectly and towed it, with alot of weight in it up and down some very steep fire trails without a problem, even after dragging the draw bar and tow hitch on the ground numerous times. A+ "

" I think this is a well made product, but i know if people do the bolts up too tight they can break. so in the package it should have the recommended settings for M16 grade 8.8 bots which is 159 lb/ft or 215 N/m "

" Product was delivered within 3 days in the week prior to Xmas. Fantastic value, about half price of branded product through caravan dealer. Just used rafters during our annual new year camping trip and performed as expected. "

" It's very sturdy, wide and adjustable. Will suit us when travelling, particularly when freecamping on uneven ground. Delivery was also very prompt. "

" A must to have this product for sun shade and also privacy. Great product and great price . Delivery time was spot on given the busy Xmas rush. Well done guys. "

" The product is mostly good. Had issues trying to fit side wall to pop top. The instructions stated to velcro A and B together. Both have same Velcro and could not be joined. The roof poles need to be twisted to be extended, difficult to install for one person. Replace poles with different system. "

" these are a nice solid product. designed for a specific purpose and won't fail. its as simple as that. I've rarely needed to guy out the awning and really only do it on longish stays in the one spot where I know from past experiences you're likely to get some gusty winds. In the past its been, 1. get the step ladder. 2. loop the eye end of the guy through itself. 3, unloop the eye end through itself the put the eye end of the guy over the awning bar and reloop the eye end through itself. 4. try not to fall off the step ladder because you put just that inch too far away. 5. learn from previous errors and do the other end of the awning. Now it's use the rod you have for pulling the awning down from the van and put the eye end of the guy over the lip of the awning clip. no ladders, no falling, no looping and unlooping. "

" Very happy with product ,now I can leave the Awning up in the wind. Its a must for roll out Awnings and should be part of a Roll Out Awning Kit. "

" The curved roof rafters are a breeze to fit and a must for any van awning. Weather you are a serious traveller or a weekend warrior this product should be part of your setup. In fact, they should be supplied with all awnings. A great idea from a great aussie company. "
- Jeff Tougher
" Seems like a very strong cover, my only suggestions would be, to have a couple more snap straps on the bottom of the cover going under the van. "
- Barbara
" All good. Including sail tracks would be great. "

" The perfect size to fit a Jayco Swan Outback providing great privacy and UV protection without the excessive cost of a full kitchen awning. A really well made bit of kit that I will never be without again. "
